LCM Steep Slope Stabilization

Linden Long, Owner of LCM Company, has seen his share of steep slopes. He claims that the problem is only getting worse, due to the fact that people are trying to utilize every ounce of space that they can on increasingly smaller lot sizes. This dynamic is leading us to areas that are much more difficult to try and vegetate and keep from eroding. That was the problem he was dealing with on a commercial building project in Lexington.

After consulting with him on what seed was to be used, we applied a seeded compost blanket to the area. Filtrexx LockDown netting was used under the blanket to add sheer strength. We also added a Filtrexx Channel Soxx to an area that received concentrated flows off an adjacent property. This problem hillside that was eroding onto the parking lot is now a beautiful addition to the property.
